Statement of faith
Virtual Neighbour believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and those who believe in Him and repent of their wrongdoing are the children of God and they will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. We are committed to the teachings of the bible and aim to reflect the love of Christ in our transactions.
What We Believe
- We believe there is only one God who lives eternally in three persons – God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
- We believe the Bible – the Old Testament and the New Testament Scriptures – is the infallible, authoritative written Word of God, given by divine inspiration through the Holy Spirit to reveal the will of God.
- We believe in the birth, perfect obedience, death, burial, and resurrection of Christ Jesus, which was the only way of atoning for the human sin, and anyone who accepts this by faith will be reconciled to God and have eternal life.
- We believe the Church is the worldwide community of believers who confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, and have been endowed with the Spirit’s power and gifts to love and serve God and others, worship God, and proclaim the Gospel.
- We believe in the personal and visible second coming of Christ Jesus, which is the blessed hope of the Church, and at His return He will raise the righteous dead and living to take them to heaven in preparation for the new heaven and new earth. Buth the unrighteous – those who do not believe and accept Jesus – will die.
